This is the first mechanical mod and squonker I tried. At first, I was really worried about it blowing up in my face, despite using a calculator to make sure my build was safe, but it was fine. After using it for a while using the Dead Rabbit v2 and Wotofo Warrior RDA's, I can safely say this mod is really nice and easy to use (although I haven't tried any others~)
The faceplates fit perfectly and snug, the magnets are strong, but it's also easy to remove when necessary. I like that you can remove both sides, as removing the backside makes it easier to remove the battery.
I only have 18650 batteries so have been using the provided adapter. I find it's really snug and could be just a tiny fraction looser - I'm worried something will break one day because of how difficult it is.
The refillable juice bottle is such a cute and squishy material which is much different than the other squonker I have but haven't tried yet, which has a plastic bottle. It's easy to squeeze, but there's enough restriction so it wont flood the deck easily at all. I found the tube too long so I cut it a little, to make it easier to replace after filling.
The fire button is nice. It's surprisingly smooth and springy and the resistance is perfect imo. Lightly pushing it wont make it fire so I feel comfortable that it wont fire accidentally if I haven't flicked the off switch.
Personally, I would love something less boxy and softer, as well as other colour options, but on sale at $10, this is an…
